Melbourne-based artist Josh Dykgraaf has a discerning eye for matching two seemingly disparate parts. In his ongoing Terraforms assortment, autumn leaves change into feathers, magnolia petals wind into scales, and plumes variety fins that swish by way of water. Each illustration merges flora and fauna into a very new fantastical creature, and a single piece can take days to complete, with the pair of Tawny Frogmouths, for example, clocking in at 55 hours and higher than 3,000 layers.
