From New York Metropolis to Azerbaijan to Kristianstad, Sweden, artist Lula Goce transforms clean partitions into ethereal artworks that illustrate childlike marvel and development. Her murals merge photorealistic renderings of adolescent topics with otherworldly environment: plumes of flowers and vines wind across the figures, serpentine creatures emerge from the vegetation, and shrunken landscapes relaxation in the youngsters’s arms. Serene and dreamy, the works usually middle on kids painted in refined tones who peer into the space or are deep in sleep.
