Moscow-based fiber artist Rosa Andreeva crafts quaint gardens full with tufts of moss, floating pollen, and cracked teacups made from silk. Teeming with whimsy, the dense embroideries stability tight stitches with free ends that kind the three-dimensional thistle heads, violet pansies, and varied florals. To create the fairytale scenes, Andreeva first sketches the flora and fauna onto her material and then layers the textured particulars in thread and beads.
