He’s been described as the king of reggae and dance hall artists in Africa. For the past decade, Stonebwoy has cemented himself as one of Ghana’s most successful artists, winning more than 50 awards. His music has reached millions on streaming platforms, earning the respect of artists and fans far beyond the West African nation’s borders.  On his recent album “5th Dimension”, he collaborated with the likes of Davido, Angelique Kidjo and Stormzy.  He’s in Paris to talk about his new single “Your Body” and its message for people to love and accept themselves. Stonebwoy speaks to Eve Jackson about being one of the most decorated voices in African music after winning six trophies in June’s Ghana Music Awards, his mission to use music to unify Black people across the African diaspora and his plans to work with Taylor Swift.
