Diddy’s Sons Ship Stop And Desist Over Overdue Mom’s Alleged Memoir

Disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ kids have sent a cease and desist letter to a man who claims to be the author of their late mother, Kim Porter’s memoir.

The music mogul’s sons, Christian and Quincy, sent the warning letter to Courtney Burgess over the sales of the memoir under the pseudonym “Jamal Millwood.”

Burgess was also recently revealed to be a witness in the federal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs and has been slammed by the rapper’s lawyers for claiming to have sex tapes of Diddy with A-listers.

According to TMZ, Christian and Quincy have made moves to prevent the sale of a memoir linked to their late mother, Porter.

The book titled “Kim Porter Tell It All (‘Tell It All’)” is being hawked by a man called Courtney Burgess.

However, Diddy’s sons are now warning him that they are the “rightful heirs and owners of” their mother’s intellectual property rights since her passing in November 2018, and for that reason, the alleged diary entries belong to them.

Burgess has repeatedly said that he produced the “original unedited” copy of Porter’s alleged memoir with the help of a flash drive from people who had a close relationship with the late model.

While Christian and Quincy do not believe in the existence of such a flash drive, they have stated that if there is a device with any information, it would automatically belong to them as their mother’s heirs.

Burgess recently made headlines after claiming he had or had seen disturbing videos of the “Bad Boy for Life” rapper “victimizing” at least eight of his celebrity friends, which Diddy’s lawyers said were untrue and defamatory.

Earlier this month, Burgess and his attorney, Ariel Mitchell, appeared before a federal courthouse in lower Manhattan to testify for a grand jury.

Burgess had earlier claimed that a grand jury had subpoenaed him after saying he had sex tapes from Diddy’s parties and the real memoir of Kim Porter.

Just like the memory, Burgess said that the videos came from a flash drive owned by Porter, who’d reportedly obtained the footage from hidden cameras in Diddy’s home.

Sources also told TMZ that the subpoena from federal prosecutors asked Burgess to “turn over all records, including thumb drives, hard drives, electronic storage devices, or devices containing videos and/or other files depicting Diddy.”

It’s unclear if he actually handed over the purported tape or only mentioned it to the jury.

As reported by The Blast, Diddy’s jail cell was recently the target of a raid by authorities.

His legal team, led by Marc Agnifilo, made the revelation in a filing, where they stated that prosecutors had somehow obtained information that could only have been seized from the rapper’s cell by the feds.

The exact timing of the raid remains unclear. However, according to TMZ, attorney Agnifilo shared that some of the seized items included Diddy’s handwritten notes to his legal team.

These notes reportedly contained details about defense witnesses and strategies for his trial, which is set to begin in May 2025.

According to Page Six, prosecutors accused Diddy of trying to “corruptly influence” his sex trafficking trial by evading how his calls are monitored, as well as “blackmailing victims” from his prison cell.

In a filing made on Friday, prosecutors claimed he “repeatedly” communicated with others in ways that violated the prison’s regulations.

They noted that Diddy had used the telephone accounts of “at least eight other inmates” in an effort to avoid prosecutors monitoring his calls with people who aren’t on his contact list.

To worsen it, he allegedly got the other person on the call, including those on his contact list, to “add other individuals via three-way call.”

“This practice is also not authorized by BOP [Federal Bureau of Prisons] as it helps conceal the identities of the contacted individuals,” the court documents read. “The defendant’s repeated circumvention of BOP regulations—starting almost immediately after arriving at MDC—speaks volumes about his ability to comply with any conditions of release.”
