System of a Down‘s 2025 schedule just got a jolt of international flavor. The influential rock act, who have assembled only 10 times since 2019, have added second shows in all three markets for their previously announced summer stadium run and also confirmed their first South American appearances in years.
The new North American shows will take place July 27 in East Rutherford, N.J., with Korn, Sept. 1 at Chicago’s Soldier Field with Avenged Sevenfold and Sept. 5 at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium with Deftones. Polyphia and Wisp will support at all gigs.

Beforehand, System of a Down will play seven South American stadium dates, beginning April 24 in Bogotá and wrapping May 10 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Visit the band’s web site for on-sale information.
“I’m not just grateful but mind-blown at how much people love the band and the music,” frontman Serj Tankian told SPIN last year. “I can never get over that fact, irrespective of us not touring or putting out records. That’s why I think even if we just do one show and enjoy it with them, it’s really something special to all of us that will never go away.”
In August, the group played to 50,000 people at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park alongside Deftones, who will also tour extensively in 2025.
System of a Down hasn’t released a new album since 2005’s Mesmerize and Hypnotize.
