Billie Eilish Groups With James Cameron For three-D Live performance Movie

Billie Eilish is teaming with Terminator, Titantic and Avatar director James Cameron for a 3D project, which the singer announced yesterday (July 19) while onstage in Manchester, England. The exact nature of the collaboration hasn’t been confirmed, but it will encompass footage shot at Eilish’s four Manchester concerts through Wednesday.

“So, you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,” the artist said from the stage yesterday. “Basically, I can’t say much about it, but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere, just saying. So, don’t mind that, and also I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.”

Eilish, who is touring in support of her hit 2024 album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, has previously pulled back the curtain on her career in the 2021 R.J. Cutler-directed film Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry and teamed with Netflix for the same year’s concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.

Cameron, a three-time Oscar winner, will be back in theaters on Dec. 19 with Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third installment in a series that began in 2009.
