Paramount+ has released the final trailer for Landman Season 2, Taylor Sheridan’s drama series starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore.
“In season two, as oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes,” the season 2 synopsis reads. “Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.”

What happens in the Landman Season 2 trailer?
After the death of her husband, Monty Miller (Jon Hamm), Cami Miller now runs M-Tex Oil. That’s not how Tommy sees it. “She owns it, but I run the company,” Tommy Norris says in the trailer. Cami and Tommy must now work together after M-Tex Oil faces accusations of embezzlement, insurance fraud, and wire fraud.
The series logline reads: “Set in the boomtowns of West Texas, Landman is a modern tale of fortune seeking amongst roughnecks and wildcat billionaires – fueling an oil boom so big it’s reshaping the climate, the economy and geopolitics.”
Landman’s ensemble includes Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.
Chris Wallace and Sheridan created Landman, inspired by Wallace’s podcast series Boomtown. Landman’s executive producers include Sheridan, Wallace, Thornton, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, Stephen Kay, Dan Friedkin, Jason Hoch, J.K. Nickell, and Megan Creydt. Tommy Turtle serves as co-executive producer.
Landman is one of the many series developed by Sheridan for Paramount+. The Yellowstone architect’s list of shows includes 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and Lioness.
Landman Season 2 premieres on Sunday, November 16, 2025, on Paramount+.
