Doomsday Superstar Says It is Larger Than Stranger Issues, Hypes up Physician Doom


A Stranger Things alum is teasing massive stakes for Avengers: Doomsday. Speaking at a recent event, the actor suggested the upcoming Marvel blockbuster dwarfs even the scale of Stranger Things Season 5. He also hinted at a new on-screen trio that could become a major fan favorite in the expanding Marvel lineup.

While promoting DTF St. Louis, Harbour was asked by Entertainment Tonight about what audiences should expect from his upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday. The actor described the film as enormous in scope and impact. “Oh man, that movie is huge… I thought that Stranger Things 5 was big, but this is kind of the biggest thing I have ever done,” Harbour said, stressing just how ambitious the Marvel project is shaping up to be.

Harbour also singled out Robert Downey Jr.’s performance as something fans should watch closely. “I’m really excited for you to see what Downey is doing… He is really special,” he added, suggesting the film will feature major standout moments. While plot details remain tightly guarded, the comment hints at a significant role for the veteran Marvel star in the upcoming ensemble.

The actor then shifted focus to his own character dynamics. Harbour confirmed that Alexei Shostakov shares meaningful scenes with Yelena Belova. More interestingly, he revealed he is building what he called a “brotherhood” with Winter Soldier and U.S. Agent. He described the trio’s chemistry as a fun “bromance,” even joking that it plays like a love triangle between the three characters (via ETonline).
