Rock Corridor Nominees: Wu-Tang, INXS, Lauryn Hill

Lauryn Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, Jeff Buckley, Phil Collins, Luther Vandross, Shakira, P!NK, INXS, New Edition and Melissa Etheridge are all first-time nominees for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the organization announced this morning (Feb. 25).

Previous nominees The Black Crowes, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Mariah Carey, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden and Sade are also returning to the ballot for the 2026 ceremony, the date and location for which have yet to be announced. Collins was already inducted in 2010 as a member of Genesis.

Nominees are voted on by a panel of 1,200 artists and industry professionals, with results going public in April. The Hall will also select honorees for its Musical Influence and Musical Excellence awards, as well as the Ahmet Ertegun Non Performer Award.

In 2025, the Rock Hall welcomed Soundgarden, the White Stripes, Outkast, Cyndi Lauper, Bad Company, Joe Cocker and Chubby Checker. Warren Zevon, Lenny Waronker, Carol Kaye, Thom Bell and Nicky Hopkins were also inducted via special categories.
