Primavera Sound Units Eye-Popping 2027 Lineup

Primavera Sound Barcelona has announced the lineup for its 25th edition, and it is, as usual, a dizzyingly eclectic bill led in 2027 by Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Hayley Williams, FKA twigs, Turnstile, Massive Attack, the Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, ADÉLA, Caroline Polachek, Prospa and Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi among the headliners.

The oceanside fest will feature 151 artists and bands and take place primarily June 3-5 at Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. A free opening day is scheduled for June 2, followed by a closing electronic music event on June 6. Additional programming at venues around the city will be announced later, extending the festival to a full week.

Other acts on the bill include Pavement, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Bleachers, Underworld, EsDeeKid, ANOHNI, 81-year-old folk legend Vashti Bunyan, Weyes Blood, Julien Baker, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, BICEP, Joy Orbison, John Talabot, Converge, Full of Hell, Tinashe, Shygirl, Kim Petras, Arca, underscores, Snow Strippers, Dinosaur Jr., DIIV, Gilla Band, Juana Molina, Tirzah, Jesu, Pole, Mark Fell & RP Boo and obscure but beloved American instrumental rock band Don Caballero, which is reuniting with guitarist Ian Williams for the first time since 2000.

The festival says women are again represented equally in the overall lineup. Doechii will make her Spanish festival debut, while Massive Attack and the Chemical Brothers are also playing the event for the first time. FKA twigs will perform a new show, while ANOHNI will present a special set featuring songs by mentor Lou Reed. Meanwhile, the June 6 Primavera Bits closing event will feature Richie Hawtin, Four Tet and Dixon, who will perform alternating sets across eight hours.

Bradford Cox will also return to Primavera Sound performing Atlas Sound material, which he recently did for the first time in seven years. The festival says Cox has appeared at the event more times than any other artist, either with Deerhunter or as Atlas Sound.

Beyond the music, Primavera Pro, the festival’s industry conference and showcase program, will run June 2-5 at DHub for its 18th edition. See the full lineup below.
