Brandi Glanville is preparing for an unusually invasive operation as she continues searching for answers about her facial disfigurement.
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star revealed that a doctor plans to explore beneath her skin on Friday, targeting two suspicious areas he believes could contain something unusual.
Glanville is hopeful the procedure might help, but the prospect of undergoing facial surgery has left her both eager and deeply nervous.
Brandi Glanville Faces An Extreme Procedure To Investigate Her Facial Disfigurement
On Thursday’s episode of her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast, Brandi Glanville told co-host James Maas that Dr. Carlo Henrado would perform exploratory surgery.
She described the plan in striking terms, revealing, “Dr. Carlo Henrado is taking my face off on Friday and going to do an exploratory surgery to kind of do a power wash under my skin.”
Glanville explained that Henrado had identified two spots he believed could be “fungal balls or something alive.” She suspected the issue might be active, adding, per Page Six, “I think it’s alive, personally, because it moves when it wants.”
The TV personality said the procedure would involve surgical tools and equipment she likened to a power washer, followed by a platelet treatment using her own blood.

Brandi Glanville also noted that Henrado came “highly recommended” and agreed to perform the surgery for whatever insurance would cover, plus $5,000.
She described his approach as trying to remove “the head off the beast, the snake,” so he could address the remaining areas.
The former model said she was “super excited” about the operation, but also “scared to death,” noting that she had never had facial surgery.
She explained, “He’s, like, literally going in there with a power washer, basically, and knives and all this s–t. And then he’s spinning my blood and doing this platelet thing on the inside of my face.”
Glanville ended that description with a joke about the treatment, stating, “We might not want my blood at this point.”
Glanville’s Family Loss Added Grief To Her Health Struggle

The medical uncertainty surrounding Brandi Glanville’s facial condition had already made her life difficult, and the death of her father, Guy, brought another painful burden.
As The Blast reported, Glanville announced her father’s death on October 10 on X with a raw message that read, “My dad died, I’m gutted I hate this life right now.”
She did not disclose a cause of death. Fellow “Real Housewives of New York City” star Sonja Morgan responded, “So sorry you are going through this Brandi. Sending love and strength.”
Prior to his demise, Glanville and her dad had a complicated relationship. The pair had appeared together on “Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars Family Edition” in 2018, hoping to repair their estrangement.
The reality TV star later revealed, “My dad and I, we left the show in a great space and then, when the show aired, we haven’t talked since.” She added, “But, no, we haven’t talked since, unfortunately. But I love him dearly. He’s everything.”

Brandi Glanville’s Medical Bills Drew Support From Her Housewives Circle

Beyond her relationship with Guy, Glanville has also struggled with a financial crisis, prompting fellow reality stars to help cover treatment costs.
The Blast previously noted that friend Gina Rodriguez created a GoFundMe with a $28,000 goal to help cover expenses linked to the illness causing Brandi’s facial disfigurement.
Rodriguez urged supporters to “help Brandi on her journey to get her health back.” Brandi’s medical bills had reportedly climbed to more than $7,000 a week. Kyle Richards donated $500, while Leah McSweeney, Heather Gay and Vicki Gunvalson also contributed.
Brandi later revealed that the support meant a great deal, admitting, “I feel like we are a sisterhood. We are a family at the end of the day. They ride for me. And I’d do the same for them, for sure.”
She also said she hoped to repay those who helped once she recovered.
Glanville Revealed A Benign Facial Tumor And Makeup Struggles
The financial strain described in Brandi Glanville’s fundraiser was only one part of her health ordeal. In June, the star spoke about a benign tumor in one of the lymph nodes in her face and the way her symptoms had intruded on an everyday part of her life: putting on makeup.
During an episode of her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast, Glanville told co-host James Mass, “I have a benign tumor in one of my lymph nodes in my face. That could be why the fluid is going around my face.”
She said the condition made wearing makeup difficult, explaining, “I can wear makeup for like 15 minutes, and then I have to take it off.”
Glanville also stated that she sought help from a dermatologist who specialized in cancer after noticing a lump.
She recalled that the finding appeared in her blood test, while other doctors had repeatedly attributed what they saw to scar tissue. She questioned that explanation, “From what? I haven’t had a facelift yet.”
The health struggle had lasted for years, she said, and she had consulted numerous doctors without finding lasting relief. Glanville described wanting to return to familiar routines, including getting hair extensions and having a “glow-up.”
