It may have been a decade since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released, but the movie never gets old, thanks to its director occasionally sharing behind-the-scenes posts from the film. Zack Snyder (Army of the Dead, 300, Man of Steel) has done it again, and this time, he teased a never-before-seen look at Ben Affleck‘s Batman in his Mech suit.
Zack Snyder releases new photo of Ben Affleck’s Batman mech suit
There have been many instances of Ben Affleck’s Batman in the Mech suit, generally looking up at Henry Cavill’s Superman in the movie’s iconic fight scene. That has been the case in previously released photos of the scene. However, Snyder just shared a brand-new angle of Affleck standing in the rain in the mech suit.
Sharing the side angle picture of the Mech suit on Instagram, Snyder wrote, “The world only makes sense if you force it to!” which is a line from Affleck’s Bruce Wayne during his confrontation with Superman.
Snyder has been sharing set photos from his DCEU movies for several days now. Earlier this month, he shared a picture on his Instagram that featured key members of Justice League. The image from the 2017 CinemaCon event had Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher; the caption read, “The Boys.”
A few days later, Snyder shared another picture. This time, it was a car used by Ben Affleck’s Batman in the SnyderVerse. In the post featuring Bruce Wayne’s Aston Martin, the director wrote, “At Altadena Cars & Coffee on a Saturday morning with Bruce Wayne’s car.”
At the moment, it’s hard to speculate if Snyder is actually teasing an announcement or something else with these images shared frequently in a span of days. While hardcore fans will hope to get the SnyderVerse restored, nothing is confirmed right now.
