What do we see in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer?

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer provides some insight into the highly anticipated Marvel movie. While Sadie Sink’s mystery character remains absent from the new footage, it does give fans their first look at Spidey’s battle with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, while there’s also some new footage of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/Punisher. More specifically, it appears that Peter turns to Frank for help after someone is targeting Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, played by Zendaya.

The cast of the movie also includes Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, Eman Esfandi, and Liza Colón-Zayas.

The synopsis for the movie reads, “After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives on July 31, 2026.
